I'm April — an undergraduate studying Pure Mathematics and Computer Science at UQ. I want to do a PhD in mathematics eventually, though I'm not sure in what yet.
Outside of work I go birding whenever I get the chance, and I'm slowly accumulating more books than I have shelf space for.

Reading — Algebra: Chapter 0 by Paolo Aluffi.
Favourite bird — the shoebill. Hard to top a bird that looks like it was designed by a committee with no brief.
Birding — I have a few spots on the Gold Coast I get to when time allows, and I'm planning a trip to one in Logan soon. If you know good birding spots in SEQ, I'd like to hear about them.
